The Diet That Has Been A Total Hit In The World Since ’99: Minus 40 Pounds In 5 weeks!

The weight loss plan from the famous Israeli nutritionist, Kim Protasov, offers users to lose 10 to 40 pounds in just 5 weeks, while claiming that the process is healthy.

The diet was conceived in 1999 and has since been used by thousands of people who have been amazed by the results.

This diet is not recommended for people suffering from gastritis, chronic pancreatitis, stomach ulcers.

Here are the rules for following this diet and some suggested menus:

The basis of the diet

Protasov’s diet is based on fresh vegetables and a small amount of dairy products and proteins, which are eaten because they improve digestion, restore the intestinal microflora and facilitate the process of burning fat.

It belongs to the group of low-calorie diets, because they consume between 1,200 and 1,500 calories per day.

The maximum result is the loss of 20 kg in 5 weeks of strict adherence.

First week
During the first week, vegetables without starch are allowed in unlimited quantities: cabbage, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, zucchini, radishes …

Vegetables can be cooked or baked, and sometimes you can “treat” yourself with a few potatoes.

It is allowed to consume kefir and yogurt in the first week, in a ratio of 1: 2, according to the intake of vegetables.

You can eat 1 boiled egg a day. As for the fruit, you can eat 3 green apples a day in the first week. Other fruits are forbidden.

Second week

This stage is similar to the previous one, except that now all the vegetables that are not fresh (sour, frozen) are thrown out.

You can still eat 3 green apples a day, dairy products and one egg a day. Be sure to include plenty of water.

Third week

In the third week, 300g of lean red meat, fish or other animal origin is added to the daily menu, but the amount of dairy products is reduced by 1/3.

The rest is the same as in the second week.

Fourth and fifth week

The menu is the same as in the third week, with a focus on vegetables with low glycemic index – celery, garlic, red beans, peas, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, spinach.

You can still eat 300g of lean red meat, 3 apples a day, 1 egg, and now dairy products can be consumed indefinitely.

What happenes when you finish the diet?
If you follow the diet properly, it is important not to go back to the old habits immediately.

Try to be rich in protein and then enrich each meal with lots of vegetables.

You can practice the diet only once a year and always consult a professional.
